Casey Hester on Texas Flip and Move

Casey Hester. When people hear his name the first though that comes to mind is Casey saying, “You gotta risk it to get the biscuit.” Later season intros of Texas Flip and Move show him saying it. Like the Snow Sisters and their brother Gary, Casey also comes from a family of house movers. Casey Hester joined Texas Flip and Move moving houses for his cousin Cody Slay.

Casey Hester’s Grandfather Bill J. Hester

More than five decades ago Bill J. Hester was building custom homes. During the early 1960’s he decided to expand his business options. So he included foundation repairs as well as house lifting and structural moves. His son Dan watching him soon became equally fascinated with the process. When Dan joined the company it became Bill J. Hester and Son Inc House Moving.

Also enthralled by the facet of moving large buildings would be Dan’s son Casey. Casey would spend summer days watching his dad and grandfather lift large structures from off of the earth and carry them down the road. Soon Casey knee he wanted to be a part of the action. He spent his time observing and learning all of the aspects of house moving. The techniques as well as the safety measures. Although Bill J. Hester has since passed, Dan and Casey strive to keep his vision and passion alive.

Casey’s Family on Texas Flip and Move

Occasionally, Casey was seen in early seasons of Texas Flip and Move moving houses his cousin Cody had won at auction. However, in later seasons of the hit reality TV show seen on the cable channels DIY, GAC, HGTV and Discovery Channel, we see that he has an incredible knack for house building and design as well. The same place we saw him first speak his catch phrase “gotta risk it to get the biscuit.” Obviously another trait he acquired from his grandfather. Another trait of Casey’s that we see on the show….his sense of humor.

Casey Hester’s Family at Home

Also recipients of his humor are Casey’s family. Casey Hester is happily married to wife Tosha Hester.  Although, humor is not the only characteristic his wife gets to enjoy. His romanticism has not worn off through the years.  Four years ago as an anniversary surprise for Tosha, Casey booked the same limo he had booked for their wedding in 2015. The couple has four children.
