History in the making….was the tag line on the first page of the auction catalog for the Marquise Auction Arabian Horse Invitation of 2017. In spectacular fashion history was made with the sale of Om EL Erodite for $1, 550, 000. One of the most talked about and highly anticipated fillies on the planet. Born of World Champion bloodline from the sire of EKS ELIHANDRO of the Om El Arab Program. The maternal grand sire is also a World Champion, Straight Egyptian AL LAHAB.

The Auctioneer calling the nights event was Joseph Mast from Millersburg, Ohio. The Auction consisted of 13 total lots in front of one very enthusiastic audience. Horses present with high spirits were upfront and center with each commanding their own attention as the auctioneer cried numbers in the hundreds of thousands. An additional $85,000 was raised for charitable causes. The event was held at West World in Scottsdale, Arizona.
