Final Salute Inc at Fundraiser to help Homeless Women Veterans
Final Salute Inc at Fundraiser to help Homeless Women Veterans. Certainly veterans and civilians came together the evening of Wednesday, September 23rd for a fundraiser auction event helping Final Salute Inc and advocate Karalyn Martin, a 2020 Ms Veteran America finalist.
USVET.fund
To begin with, hosting the fundraiser auction event was USVET.fund. Indeed this veteran organization teams with veterans and veteran organizations helping raise funds. Additionally, United States Marine Corps veteran Myers Jackson is the organization’s founder, CEO and head auctioneer. In fact, the USVET.fund has a unique program in which veterans and/or veteran organizations craft or supply the majority of their auction items.
Karalyn Martin and Final Salute Inc
Consequently, Wednesday evening’s event was helping 2020 Ms Veteran America finalist Karalyn Martin raise funds for First Salute Inc. As a matter of fact Karalyn is an advocate for First Salute Inc. Additionally, she is deeply passionate about their mission of helping homeless women veterans and their children find safe and suitable housing.
Drop and Give Us 50!
Indeed veterans past and present were in attendance for the event. Including Darren Hafford. Notably, Darren is preparing for the 50 Push Up Challenge. And Auctioneer Myers Jackson was eager to see if Darren had 50 pushups in him. Although surprised and not expecting to do any, without hesitation Darren dropped and did fifty pushups upon Myers’s asking. Of course, America’s Auctioneer and the Big Gavel May have helped out some…
Pride, Patriotism and Good Food
As well, civilians with hearts beating proudly for veterans and all they do to protect our nation and freedoms were in attendance. Truly everyone in the audience proudly stood and recited the National Anthem with Iwo Jima Survivor Don Graves. Prior to the auction guests purchased and enjoyed dinner at venue host Cooper’s Old Time Pit BBQ. In fact, for many auctions Cooper’s has graciously opened the doors to their Llano room to accommodate USVET.fund events. Therefore, many heartfelt Thank You’s go to Cooper’s from USVET.fund and everyone in attendance for the hospitality and generosity!
