Friendship of over 3 decades. Myers Jackson America’s Auctioneer, Bruce Shields Retired Cleveland Police Office served together in the United State Marine Corps. At first there were huge differences. The two became strong friends and have remained so for 33 years. Speaking up within their own beliefs while maintaining a bond they wish to share with the chaotic world we live.
Myers Jackson grew up in Mayo, a small rural North Florida town near Jacksonville, Gainesville and Tallahassee. Lafayette Country, deep in the South. Farms, pastured fields and timbered woodland made-up the landscape way down upon the Suwannee River. A predominantly white community with a population of less than 10,000. Myers grew up with out a father, living with his grandparents all of his life.
Bruce Shields grew up in the projects in Morris Black area, Cleveland Ohio. A massive population on Lake Erie bearing cold, cold winters a community that had its own share of adversity. Bruce grew up with his mother and grandmother. Bruce tells about being spit on while walking to school by white boys. Even after all that Bruce a dark green Marine made friends with many and talks about his friendships with light green Marines after joining the USMC.
