Marine, Welcome to Dallas-Fort Worth!
Are you a Marine new to the Dallas-Fort Worth area? Truly, being in a new place, location, city, state can be overwhelming. Thus arises an eagerness to find and mesh with others with likeminded interests, lives or pasts as yours. Fortunately, there is a place in the DFW area to meet and mingle with fellow Marines.
Monthly Meets in Dallas-Fort Worth
In fact, once a month on the first Thursday, Marines in the Dallas Fort-Worth area are meeting. It matters not their age. Young and old are graciously welcome. It matters not your current status. Active duty, reserve or retired. It matters not the wars in which you served. Any and all. World War II to the Iraq/Afghanistan wars.
By all means there is now a place to get together for fellowship and camaraderie. Share memories. Swap stories about the relationships both in war and at home. Receive support from peers who understand what you have been through. And what you are going through. Create new memories. New relationships. Be an inspiration. All it takes is one willing to share where they have been and what they are going through to inspire action. Change. Spark interest. Renewed interest. In a generation in which history is being removed. Keep the history of America and her battles for our freedoms alive.
Resources for United States Marine Corps in Dallas-Fort Worth
Not only are fellow Marines present at these monthly meets. Also attending are military support charities and veterans organizations from across the North Texas region. These various institutions offer an array of assistance and resources for active duty and/or veterans.
Bring Yourself, Your Appetite, Your Stories and Your Smile
To reiterate, luncheons are held the first Thursday of the month. At 12:00 Noon. Cost is a donation of $10. Furthermore, the location is the TEXO Building located at 11101 N. Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75229. Be sure to bring yourself, your appetite, your stories and your smile. Be on the lookout for USMC Veteran and photographer America’s Auctioneer Myers Jackson. He will be there with his Nikon camera snapping smiles, hugs and handshakes.
