Moving to Texas Benefits

If you know anyone from Texas, you probably have heard them say, “Texas is the greatest state in the Union.”  Why do Texans feel so much pride for their state?  Because Texans are tough, they are survivors, but they are also friendly, caring and the type to help their neighbor.

Texas Offers Employment, Scenery, and Sports

People are moving to Texas in droves because of the  fantastic employment opportunities – many big companies have moved their headquarters to Texas, excellent colleges, a variety of scenery – desert, woods,  plains, urban areas, and coastal living – and probably, most importantly, NO STATE INCOME TAX and reasonable cost of living!  The Sports culture is fantastic too. Texas has a number of professional sporting teams and venues where fans can gather to watch a great game and have a good time. Texas College football teams also provide its residents exciting games!

Vacationing in Texas

If you want to go on vacation, you don’t even have to leave the state. You can drive down to the Texas Coast and stay in a condo or AirBnB in Galveston, Port Aransas or Mustang Island.  Want to do some deep sea fishing, you can charter a boat. If you want to go camping, stay in a cabin, or do some hiking, Texas has so many state parks that offer a variety of beautiful scenery to take in.  East Texas Piney Woods is a popular area for camping.  Caddo Lake State park on the border of Texas and Louisiana has the only naturally formed lake in the state. It is an eerily beautiful park with Spanish Moss hanging from the trees.

Making Texas Home

So, if you’re looking for a home in Texas, you will get more for your money.  No matter whether  you’re a family with small children or teens or if you’re looking for a great place to retire, Texas has it all. It is a big state and offers so many choices for those looking to relocate.
