What Entertainment Can I Find at the Stockyards?

 

Notably, Billy Bob’s Texas is in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Indeed there is more than just music and dancing one can do here. The concert hall also has an indoor arena and mechanical bulls. Not to mention numerous bars.

However, there is additional entertainment to be found in the stockyards. For example, take a step back to the early days of Fort Worth when she gained her nickname of ‘Cowtown”. Enjoy a gunfight re-enactment or a cattle drive. Whichever event you wish to revisit, they can be viewed at: Cattle Drive = Monday-Sunday (excluding Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day) 11:30am & 4:00pm; Gun Fight Re-Enactment = Saturday and Sunday 11:45am & 4:15p. Each is free to the public. Additionally there is the Stockyards Championship Rodeo. No need to wait for a specific time of the year to attend. This rodeo takes place every Friday and Saturday evening at 8pm at the Fort Worth Cowtown Coliseum.
