With this in mind, we are giving a huge shout out to France, Italy and Australia. They are the original sibling team of mover/renovators on the hit reality TV show Texas Flip and Move. Are the Snow Sisters Really Sisters?
First of all, The Snow sisters are the eldest (Donna Snow) and the youngest (Toni Snow Barksdale) of three siblings. They and their brother Gary are third generation house movers. While the sisters are in nearly every episode, brother Gary has occasional appearances either with them or his daughters.
When not flipping houses, the sisters are working at their family business H.D. Snow & Son House Moving, Inc in Fort Worth. In fact, they each began working for the business right out of high school.
Snow Sisters on Texas Flip and Move / Do They Do Their Own Work?
Since the first episodes the Snow Sisters have always been a team. They arrive at the house/building/structure together. Then they take their measurements and decide if there is a path around trees. Neither one wants to see trees removed to move out a house if it can be avoided.
Next, the sisters work together on creating the floor plan. They both get their hands dirty during the renovation process. Fans watch them participate alongside contractors and crew in the processes of tear down, rebuilding, painting, landscaping and staging. The only time one is not seen is when she is on vacation. Or in the case when Toni was recovering from knee surgery.
Not Always Houses…
Indeed the Snow Sisters have flipped more than just houses, which they are remarkable at. Did y’all see the house they did for me? What was your favorite feature? Uniquely, they have flipped a grain silo. A bus. Even a train car. There is no room for a box when you have the renovation skills and creative minds that these two do!
The Snow Sisters Love Their Fans!
Truly their friendly banter with fellow mover, flipper and friend Randy “The Lone Wolf” keeps viewers in stitches of laughter. The wisecracks exchanged between them flow over into their watch parties. Typically once a month at Cooper’s Old Time Pit BBQ in the Fort Worth Stockyards the Snow Sisters host a watch party. Fans and sometimes additional members of the cast join them for dinner, pictures, questions, and viewing of the night’s episode of the show. Fans literally come from all over!
Furthermore, the Snow Sisters show their fans that working with family is a priceless gift. As well as showing that hard work and respect for our parents have no age limit. The watch parties with the fans are precious moments. Regularly scheduled watch parties are held at Coopers Old Time Real Pit BBQ in the stockyards in Forth Worth, Texas. Come out and join them. As a matter of fact Myers Jackson and Randy “the Lone Wolf” is there as well from time to time.
