How Did Casey and Catrina Become a Team on Texas Flip and Move
At the beginning of each show now airing on DIY, GAC, HGTV and the Discovery Channel, the teams of flippers would arrive at the houses and the bidding would commence. Sometimes after the auction phone calls would be placed. On the end of one call would be Casey Hester of Bill Hester and Son House Moving. On the end of another call would be remodeler Catrina Kidd.
Casey and Catrina’s Series Beginnings
In the beginning of the hit reality TV show Texas Flip and Move, Casey Hester was the designated house mover for The Young Guns, Cody and Suzy Slay. Not to mention Cody’s cousin. Many times Cody would bid on and win a house without consulting with Casey about the move. He would call Casey who would show up and come through for his cousin.
Meanwhile, in the beginning Catrina was the remodeler for the Snow Sisters. She helped breathe life into their floor plans and designs. She lent her carpentry skills and design style to them from tear down to final finishing touch.
For Casey and Catrina One Plus One Equals One Incredible Team
While helping his cousin finish a flip, Casey realized he needed some assistance. He needed another set of eyes and hands. He was only going to borrow Catrina just the once from the Snow Sisters. Instead, their skills and design style combined so well, that by season 4 they became a flipping duo. Soon Casey and Catrina were buying up eyesores and turning them into homes and fans were falling in love with them. The homes and the duo.
Casey and Catrina Are Not Married to Each Other
Soon their fans began asking if they are married. They are…”but to other people,” as Casey says. Casey’s wife is Tosha and they have four kids. While Catrina’s husband is Mark and they, too, have 4 kids. Casey works with his family’s house moving business. Catrina and her husband build new homes near Parker County.
Myers Casey and Catrina plays a prank on Texas Flip and Move Producers
In the photo above, Myers Jackson the Auctioneer came up with an idea to switch places with Catrina. Accordingly, the plan worked. So who do you think played each others part best? Did Myers’ hat fit Catrina? Does Myers hair look like Catrina? Some times you just have to mix it up. Consequently, that happen, while the camera men were surprised the producers exclaimed keep filming. Stay tuned for an upcoming post that will go into more detail.
