Cody and Suzi Slay were the first married team. The only other married team since are Paige and Raf. On Texas Flip and Move Cody and Suzi acquired a fan base who have held onto their affection for the couple through the years. Although they were only on the show for the first three seasons.

Interestingly, Cody and Suzi have been a couple since Suzi was 13 years old. Suzi was born in Fort Worth to parents Norman and Cindi Taff. Her parents still live in Fort Worth as does her sister Staci.
In fact, sister Staci and her husband own a shop, Junk’n Queen, in Burleson, TX. The shop features up cycled furniture and home decor. Additionally, the shop was featured in a season 1 episode in 2015 when Suzi stopped by for a piece for a flip.

After dating for ten years, Cody and Suzi Slay tied the knot in April of 2009. The couple are the proud parents of two children. The family enjoys outings together. When not out on the boat or enjoying sports together, they are enjoying their backyard. The space is a child’s dream with a doll house, dome climber and trampoline.

Further, the Slays are owners of Texas Hog Wild Saloon in Rendon, TX. Much of their time is spent at the popular hangout. In addition to raising a family and running a business, Cody and Suzi help with Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation.
