Gary Snow on Texas Flip and Move

He is the son of H.D. Snow and Son House Moving, Inc. Gary Snow on Texas Flip and Move is the sibling between Donna Snow and Toni Snow Barksdale. He has moved houses for his sisters and his daughters on Texas Flip and Move. 

Gary Snow and the Family Business

In 1978 Gary Snow joined his father in the family business of house moving. Over the years they have moved houses of all sizes and shapes throughout North Texas. They have moved residential buildings. They have moved commercial buildings. Gary and his father have even moved historic buildings. 

When he and his father and two siblings and the crew are working on a move, communication is a crucial factor. Each member of the team is in a different position along the route with walkie-talkie radios. Conditions such as traffic, sharp turns or overhead passes are shared over the radios. A team effort making for a smooth move from point a to point b. 

Indeed his childhood wasn’t spent climbing trees and building forts. Gary spent his days climbing inside of big moving trucks and watching large buildings and structures removed from the earth and placed elsewhere. He grew up learning the ins and outs of the house moving business. Including the methods for safely loading and transporting a house. Learning how to do so without spilling one drop of water out of a glass. Then in 1978 he officially joined the business at which time it became H.D. Snow and Son House Moving. 

Gary Snow Family Man

Then three years later, Gary married wife Monica on April 24th. The couple lives in the North Texas area and has four daughters. Their daughters are all grown and have blessed them with grandchildren. 

In many episodes of Texas Flip and Move Gary is seen helping his sisters or his daughters with a move. In one episode, his daughters visit one of his sheds to find a piece for a flip. While searching they find relics from their own childhood that Gary has held on to. Gary still moves houses with his father and sisters. Gary can be seen at Texas Flip and Move watch parties with Monica and their family.
